Diversity Awareness Program
The University Student Union is excited about continuing the Diversity Awareness
Program. The program, which started in the Fall of 1989, was initiated to afford students
the opportunity to promote the celebration of diversity of all people everywhere and the
value each individual brings to our University community. This includes, but is not
limited to, diversity in lifestyle, gender, religious belief, political perspective, age,
ethnicity, sexual orientation and persons with physical disabilities.
The DAP is open to all Fresno State students and recognized student organizations. There are no restrictions regarding the type of proposal; however, each proposal must be educational and promote an appreciation and understanding of the differences in our campus community.
