Denise Ramirez: SPINNING
My passion for fitness has been an evolving process. I have participated in a variety of activities that have been introduced throught the years: everything from Jazzercise to Combat workouts. My focus is primarily on Spinning and cycling.
When participants come to my class, I feel it is very important to make them feel welcome, ask about their fitness background, and encourage them to ask questions. My inspiration comes from those individuals who tell me that they are feeling/seeing the positive aspects of exercise- from changes in body composition to increased self-confidence. Watching their energy and enthusiasm in class is a great feeling for me.
I am a Kinesiology major and aspire to teach P.E. and health education to Deaf students. In my spare time, I am involved with animal rescue, cycling, and spending time with my husband. I have been a competitive cyclist for several years and also coach cyclists how to complete 100+ mile cycling events.

Even more, I love helping people get excited about workouts and seeing the results from their hard work!
Jessica Agtarap: BODYFLOW
Hello, my name is Jess and I was born and raised in Salinas, CA. I am a junior here at Fresno State and I am currently declared as Pre-Nursing. Throughout high school, I was involved in cheerleading, dance, leadership and clubs. Through my extracurricular activities, I have always shared a passion for fitness, but it wasn't until recently that my focus has been redirected toward group fitness. I love to teach BodyFlow and have many hopes for my students. My main goal is to help students meet their own personal fitness needs. Secondly, I hope to help students develop a more acute sense of body awareness. But ultimately, I hope that everyone who comes to class enjoys it enough to come a second time!

Suzie Garcia: RPM
My name is Suzie Garcia! I am from the small town of Aromas, CA and
moved to Fresno specifically for school. I am a senior this year
majoring in Kinesiology-general option, with a minor in gerontology.
Between working for Intramurals and being an RPM instructor, most of
my time is spent at the Rec Sports & Fitness facility. The gym has
opened my eyes to the wonderful world of group fitness and the Les
Mills' programs. Participating has motivated me to maintain a healthy
and active lifestyle and I would like to pass that inspiration onto
others. Exercise truly is the best medicine and I want to make it fun
for everyone!
Tess Warwick: BODYFLOW
My name is Tess Warwick, and I am a Dietetics and Food Science major. I've taken exercise classes since my freshmen year of high school and fell in love with the idea of group fitness and always dreamed of one day becoming a teacher. I started out taking jazzercise classes, then moved on to step aerobic classes (one of my favorites), kickboxing (another favorite), weight training classes, and then finally fell in love with yoga and pilates.
BODYFLOW was just a class i knew i would love to teach. Ive worked at the SRC for almost a year as an assistant building manager. When the Les Mills programs were introduced i was so excited. This was the type of exercise I grew up doing and LOVED that it was now available to me in college! It's exciting for me to have found a new hobby and be able to teach to my peers. It is motivation for me to stay healthy and help others to do the same. I love the atmosphere and the other instructors. I'm learning a lot from this experience. See you in class!
