Florentino ("Flo") Huerta

My name is Florentino Huerta and I am an Exercise Science major at Fresno State. I am certified through ACE (American Council on
Exercise).  I have experience in weight lifting, speed and agility, and plyometric training from high school basketball and football and have continued to educate myself in the field of fitness through school, research and experimenting with new exercises and workout routines.   I am currently taking Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing  and I have coached basketball. I make workouts based on an individual's fitness level and goals and strive to the best of my ability to help you reach those specific goals. My goal is to motivate and train you to accomplish your fitness goals efficiently through hard work and dedication.

Jamie Fornal:

Hello!  My name is Jamie Fornal, and I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).  I am certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), which is one of the top national associations, right along with the ACSM.  I have my B.S. in Pre-Physical Therapy, and am currently working on my M.A. in Kinesiology – Exercise Science.

I have extensive experience working with populations of all ranges, including youth, athletic, overweight, and elderly populations.  An internship with Competitive Edge Sports Medicine in Boardman, Ohio equipped me with essential knowledge and training to properly, and effectively, run training programs that utilize plyometrics and speed training.  Another internship with the Youngstown State University gave me experience as an “assistant” strength and conditioning coach.  I was assigned to work with all 18 varsity sports, which broadened and strengthened my knowledge and expertise in the strength and conditioning field.  Lastly, I was employed with the YMCA for over a year, where I had the privilege to teach water aerobics, assist with physical therapy, and design exercise programs for members of the Y, which consisted of individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
