Gymnasiums/Courts
The Student Recreation Center is home to the two biggest gymnasiums on the campus of Fresno State. To compliment these gymnasiums, a 1/8 of a mile track runs above the playing surfaces.
Features of the East and West gymnasium:
- Each gymnasium has more than 15,000 sq/ft. of surface area
- The gymnasiums offer 4 NCAA regulation sized basketball courts, as well as 4 NCAA regulation sized volleyball courts
- Students can utilize the gymnasiums at any time, whether it be through open recreation, or scheduled programs
- Badminton courts can be set up in the gymnasiums by request
- Fresno State’s Intramurals program houses their kickball, volleyball, and basketball leagues in the gymnasiums
- The gymnasiums have been host to numerous University convocation events, as well as seminars and trade shows
Racquetball Courts
To compliment the gymnasiums, the Student Recreation Center also houses two regulation sized, glass enclosed racquetball courts. The courts are available by reservation on a first come, first serve basis and fill up fast! So, if you are wanting to play racquetball, contact us now at 347-3871 to reserve a court.
Gymnasium/Courts Policies

- Other court usage is on a first come, first serve basis.
