Director’s Corner
Welcome to those who are new and welcome back to our returning students, faculty and staff of the Fresno State community. A lot has happened over the summer that we are very excited to provide for you.
We are now prepared to offer Personal Training. Our Personal Training staff consists of students with nationally recognized certifications; three of our trainers are graduate students in Kinesiology. Check out our Personal Training link on this website for information and pricing.
The Intramural Sports program has transitioned from under the operational guidance of Associated Students to the Student Recreation Center. Now the administration and staff for Intramurals is housed in the Student Recreation Center. Intramural entries for both indoor and outdoor activities will now be taken at the Student Recreation Center, Room 102. Outdoor sport offerings (Flag Football, Soccer, & Softball) will still be played on the fields adjacent to the North and South Gyms.
To aid in customer and member services, we have moved our reception area to the first floor, Room 102, to make signing up for memberships, Personal Training, Intramurals and other member services more convenient. We will also extend our hours of member services beyond the normal work hours of the University.
We have several special events and activities planned this fall to help with awareness in fitness and recreational opportunities available to you on campus. Please look for ways to get involved with the programs, services and equipment offered at the Student Recreation Center. We are here to help you succeed in your out of class experience.
