Ken Fugelsang - Winemaster

Biography: Professor Ken Fugelsang received his master in Zoology and Botany from California State University, Fresno in 1972 and is the current winemaster and an associate professor for the department.

Ken has authored and co-authored over ninety technical papers and seven books in the area of wine stability and microbiology, including Wine Analysis and Production and Wine Microbiology.

His areas of expertise are in wine stability and microbiology. In 1990 he was awarded the Claude Laval Research Award for Innovative Technology and was also honored by the College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology as the Salgo-Noren recipient for excellence in teaching and advising. In recent years, he was named one of Fresno State’s "Top Dogs" by the California State University, Fresno Alumni Association. Ken is a member of the American Society of Enology and Viticulture, American Society for Microbiology, and the Society for Industry Microbiology. Ken can be reached at kennethf@csufresno.edu

John Giannini - Winemaker

Biography: John completed the enology program at California State University, Fresno in 1999. His winemaking experience includes the Taft Street Winery in Sebastopol and Wild Horse Winery in Templeton, California. Jessup Wiley - Marketing Manger

Biography: Jessup Wiley is the enterprise products marketing manager for the University Agriculture Laboratories (Agriculture Operations) at California State University, Fresno. Jessup graduated from the Craig School of Business in 2006 with a B.S. in Marketing. His marketing experience includes marketing and event planning for the Craig School of Business and marketing the Emeril’s Gourmet Produce product line with Pride of San Juan, Inc.
