The Rue and Gwen Gibson Farm Market was originally a humble fruit and vegetable stand on the corner of Chestnut and Barstow created to sell the students' produce from the College of Agriculture Sciences and Technologies over 20 years ago. Over time, the students and enterprises created new products and produce as they increased their knowledge and expertise. The products are created on campus and are divided into different enterprises that are operated by dedicated faculty and enterprise technicians who work closely with students in managing a field, product or product line. Today the Rue and Gwen Gibson Farm Market carries products from over 15 enterprises from five different departments.

Our products are all are processed, produced, created, and/or harvested by Fresno State students and enterprises. Every time you purchase our products, the profit goes directly to supporting the students and enterprise. This allows us to purchase new equipment and create new products, which provides the students with valuable hands-on instruction during their college education. Fresno State and the Rue and Gwen Gibson Farm Market are truly unique in their mission to educate the future agriculture leaders of the Central Valley and beyond.
