Organic Interships offered
Paid Internship for Local Organic Farms
- Earn 2 units fror PLANT 194 (credit/no credit basis); May be used to satisfy PLANT 180, 190, or 196 other options or may be utilized as an elective in the Plant Science major
- Prerequisites:
- Minimum GPA 2.0
- Junior standing and approval of faculty advisor and department chair
- Earn up to $12 per hour for hands-on work experience with members of local California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF)
- Your choice of working with one or more of vegetable crops, vineyard, greenhouse, or orchard facilities, including Fresno State organic/transition farm or greenhouse operations
- Work 15-20 hours per week during Fall or Spring semester
- Work 30-40 hours per week during Summer
- Work at least 320 hours to earn 2 units for PLANT 194 Agricultural Internship
